Why there is hate toward Muslims and Indians?

Guys, I went on 9gaggers and scrolled through Facebook feeds and Instagram feeds. They are showing job fairs with hundreds of Indians in a line, probably they are students. They also show a bus or a train, or a celebration of the culture of Indians on a street, and you know what? the comments are toxic as f*ck. What is this kind of hate? I admit that I am left-wing on matters. I do not prefer to see illegal immigrations – anyone who comes here illegally, if the people coming here to build the country then good. But if they want to come here without the selection and approval of the local people (I would say the authorization entity that represents the will of the people) and take further more, causing chaos and crimes, then this is definitely not good. But the thing that, in Canada, there is a community, at least I see online, where people are spreading hate, throwing toxic comments toward ethnic groups. I mean if you saying something about Indian people, it’s like you are throwing comments on a billion people. Similar to anyone who gives bad comments about Muslims in Europe, in this post particularly https://9gag.com/gag/aE01z69, the patriots are about freeing Palestinians. It’s sad that many people are unhappy about the killing of their people (people who share cultural identities), I mean if I were Muslim I would certainly not be happy about the situation in the Gaza Strip right now. But since I am not, and I don’t like the killing and stuff. The firing can be settled down by negotiation, right? Can we do that?

Of course in this situation, we are outsiders, and nothing we can do. The thing that I’m trying to express is, why all those hate comments? the community is large in a foreign country, if it’s a large group of Muslims, you will hate Muslims. If there is a large group of Chinese, then you will hate Chinese. If there’s a large group of Indians, then you will hate Indians. This is definitely a nature of humans where we cannot live together so well. The thing about Indians Muslims and Chinese is that they have having large community, much larger than Vietnamese or Filipinos. So once the group grows oversized, they will start being hated.

Then there is a debation: it’s because you guys do not blend well. Alright, there is a fusion of the culture here, we are calling it the culture hot pot. So, it means, let’s all wear normal clothes like Jeans and T-shirts, and let’s all eat fast food instead of Pho. Let’s all speak English, instead of Indian Chinese, or Vietnamese. Let’s not pray for Allah or Buddha, if the country is Christian then let’s pray for God and follow Jesus, or not do anything, be an atheist, or even better, an agnostic. Why? Because we are living in a foreign country, it could be Germany, Canada, or the United States, right? We get to blend in with the locals here. The country was originally built by white people, and some black people (for example, like the United States), then let’s just blend in. We don’t need to merge the culture with 100% perfect, if we can do half, then that’s already good enough. Honestly,, I don’t really show my cultural identity, yes I do speak Vietnamese when I meet other Vietnamese, especially if they are speaking Vietnamese first, and if they are stranger, I always use English, because I mean, the guy could either be looking like a Vietnamese, maybe he is Filipino right? And I don’t even bother to ask where they are coming from, it doesn’t matter, since we can speak the same language right? English. Besides that, I never eat fish sauce here and haven’t tried Pho until now as well. I do love Pho, it’s my hometown specialty (Hanoi), but frankly, I am not a huge enthusiastic about Pho, I prefer rice more (in Vietnam, office rice or a normal rice dish is called CÆ¡m Bình Dân or CÆ¡m Văn Phòng). Foods in Hanoi are great and diverse, but since I’m living here, I feel like I’m not that desired of Vietnamese food in general, as long as I have rice, then I’m good. I can also eat fast food, although I don’t like fast food because it’s too salty and too much oil from fried stuff. Overall, it’s not difficult to blend in, frankly speaking.

Anyways, the takeaway is, let’s not spread hate, let’s not tell anyone to go home, I mean if someone came here illegally, then yes, they should come home, but can we not tell all Indians in Brampton to go home, please? A lot of them are doing hard work and are living here legally, you cannot just tell them to go home right? Many people are very nice, I just cannot get why people are so stupid to hate a group as a whole from just seeing an example?
