Why do we feel bored with life?

So I did watch random YouTube videos, just to cure the boredom in a day of mine. Of course, I am very busy with stuff at work, but on occasion, I do take breaks between work sessions and embrace the boredom, here is the link to the YouTube video

You see, the guy is an ordinary office workers like most of us sitting here. We do things alone most of the time especially when we are working. Some people do collaborate with other people to work on some projects or tasks of the project, but nevertheless, we always have to be alone most of the time. People are suffering from it, they feel their work is repetitive. I mean not only at work they feel that right, we feel that it’s boring to repeat the same tasks every day at home too: like taking kids to school, going to the grocery, making food, etc. I mean I just hear stories from people with relationships and imagine if I were them I definitely feel the repetitiveness.

Despite that, we still have holidays, we can go on vacations on such holidays to enjoy some of the lifestyle differences, and we can have some hobbies, like art and sports or gaming. We can have some time to hang out with friends to do some shared activities like chatting, gossiping, playing board games, or simply just dining out, going to a movie theater, go to a park together, enjoying nature, cooking together, do whatever experiments with one another. I mean if you have a friend to talk with, just talk, don’t close yourself. These words are exactly what I tell myself when I feel bored.

But you see, life is too busy for most of us, right? We rarely have enough time for ourselves, not even to talk about spending time with others. Internet making us a lot more busy now, with that amount of information, you can simply spend hours of time on social media like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc. I just name a few of the stuff that makes us busy. You know all what I mean.

A peaceful day in my neighborhood in Fairview

So I’m saying now, we do not just need to spend less time in front of the screen to enjoy our life more, but if you actually decide that’s a part of your life: spending more than 10 hours a day in a room, in front of a monitor, then you definitely have to adapt with it somehow and accept your fate as a lonely individual. You’re actually not alone, everyone is until we see that we are here to live our lives and spend the rest of the days in front of us to really experiment with our own movie that we are responsible for directing.

It’s difficult to be alone and accept repetitiveness as a part of one life. But I think that’s the great power, once we embrace it we will see that we can suffer anything. We also only feel happy if we are treating ourselves good: fill yourself with wisdom and making our bodies fit and healthy. Let’s just keep training.
