The most bloody war in the 21st century is no doubt to be the Ukraine war. The Russian invasion was definitely illegal since it was the cause of the death of over 315,000 men. There is no ethical reason to start this war at all, but it’s true that there is always a reason for everything. Why on Earth is there such a painful war that causes more lives in such a short period of time besides diseases and transport accidents. It’s unlikely but still, there are possibilities of the current World Order collapsing.

Digging in history, any rising superpowers always try to maintain their positions and longevity by imposing strong military power: there is no such power that is more elevated than the ability to decide one’s life and fate. That being said the power to allow someone to live or die is like owning a Death Note and whoever living on Earth they will always choose to live rather than choose to die, thus they will respect the owner of the Death Note and listen to any commands that the owner of the Death Note given. Therefore great powers rely on the strength of the military to impose rules on others. And the greater the power it has in the military the greater the power it can to maintain, protect, and expand its economic forces to keep its army well-fed and at peak of technology power as well as diplomatic power. This rule applies to any ongoing government body regardless of which ethnic group it governs. The rulers of these entities create power by constitution and cultures, where people in the entity are identified and believe in one solid structure. Once people believe in such a structure they will try to maintain the structure and keep it alive.
Each nation is trying to maintain its own structure and it then has to deal with other nations and geographically speaking there will be interest conflicts. The maritime and airspace routes are crucial to decide the fate of one nation. If a country relies on resources from other geographical locations in the global market to keep its industries to be continued then the ability to squeeze its import routes is like the ability to squeeze someone’s neck to prevent blood flow within the body of a person: the economic is just cannot sustainable for lacking of resources it needs.
So to keep the world to be a place that runs in harmony there must be a leader – a leader of all nations who is a leader of the leaders. It’s like a jungle law, here the strongest animal will impose rules on others to keep the jungle peaceful, and the leader of the jungle must be proven the strongest to keep its position in the territory. After World War II and the Cold War, there’s no doubt the United States is the World leader. But we are seeing that other superpowers are also challenging them. The already existing/sleeping ones like Russia and emerging ones like China are the obvious challengers. They both have great cultures, great technological advancement, and strong cultures and beliefs, they are worthy opponents to redefine the World Order. It’s good to have challenges because that is how natural selection has worked throughout the Earth’s history: only the strong genes are alive, and the weak ones will be discarded. It’s not sure whether Brazil and India will join the challenges or not, but with all the factors combined: the length of history, the land mass, and the population, are all logical factors that give the superpower a chance to challenge one another.
Given the thought about the Ukraine war, ethically speaking, it’s always wrong to start a war that can kill people. These conflicts were already decided post-Cold War when NATO emerged and how on Earth such a great power like the Russian Empire / the Russian people can satisfy the challenge right next to them. Imagine South East Asia becomes the 2nd NAT, there will probably be a war here too. But SEA is different from Europe, historically speaking, it’s different. Europe is adopting a Western culture and it shares so many similarities with North America in term of cultures and beliefs. If SEA was Westernized then no doubt at all it would ally with the West. We are observing the biggest battle that occurring in the 21st century of Human history. Will the West maintain its position or will it fail in proving its superpower genes and get discarded by natural selection? I highly doubt that the setup is the same in the SEA region, but hopefully, it will not become the truth, it’s unlikely though – where can we find such similarities as the Ukrainian and Russian connection in the SEA region? The only shared similarity I can think of is the South China Sea and the Black Sea, which is definitely scary: the Han will never allow there such a choke point in the South region which can definitely collapse their entire economy. They, the Han, are doing fast and good in defining their military appearance and yes, our Vietnamese and Filipinos understand very well not to touch the fire. The “setup” in the previous century is not nearly good enough to cause any bullets to be shot since Vietnam, a singularity history example case entity that painfully goes over history to understand the cost of taking sides: history is written and lessons are learned.

(not sure when, but the desire is too much so certainly I will do)

Giving one more thought about the above statement, there could be a theory constructed from it: the immigrant policies of the Western world can make a different. Roughly 20% of Canada’s population is immigrant and for the United States is 13.6%, and Europe is 6.1%. Never on Earth there such diversity and this might be a perfect model of what the World might become: a mixed-race single entity rather than separate races in each countries and borders. I believe superpower leaders are getting a good understanding of how the world should become in the future and adjust it correctly, this is beyond my understanding and some thought will be given out in the future for prediction of the World’s future.
Any of my thoughts are collected from the news and YouTube videos. There is no single source of truth in this article. There is no right or wrong. This is simply a phenomenon that we are observing. I’m here to collect thoughts, not opinions.
