Never in my life observing so much of 21st century conflicts throughout the world. It’s the Gaza Strip and the Ukraine war that makes me scared and thrilled at the same time. This setup has been long well prepared in the past, Israelians have been suffering a lot for thousands of years throughout history, they simply have nowhere to live so they have to stand up to decide their fate. For example, the Kurds, who have no border, right now they are living in multiple borders, and have to fight with Turkish and Iraq at the same time. Correct me if I am wrong. I mean there are people identified themselves as their own cultures and stuff so they simply want to be recognized, right?

Who recognizes Americans, and Canadians, as a single ethnic group? We see them as countries of White people, but this is changing because of more immigrants from China, India, the Middle East, Latin America, and so on. Americans and Canadians are the group of immigrants, they are rooted in Europe the majority and they are also from Africa and Asia, people living in North America. Together they have created a culture melting pot. They have mixed identities. There is no such place on Earth where people could say something like this: I am 5% Irish, 10% Chinese, 10% Hebrew, 30% black, 30% Spanish, and the rest of whoever I am, just go ask my dead great grandparents for the answer of my ethnicity. Of course, you can look more black, or more Chinese, or more white. Yes, I love this idea, I myself am Vietnamese from root for thousands of years but I don’t mind that I will be mixed or my kids be mixed with any other ethnic groups, as long as they are wise and nice and kind to my family. Will the world be able to have mixed cultures and no identities at all? Will we are able to become one ethnic group? Honestly, I like varieties of what we have right now, but it is also a nice idea to have a less complex world than the world right now where there are hundreds and thousands of identities across the world (Vietnam alone already has 54 different ethnic groups and identities). The point is that are we willing to merge identity with others?

Anyway, what I am saying is that I’m not going to differentiate what is right or wrong. Americans are mixed identities so the fight is not really about protecting their identities. There is such reason why everyone on Earth sees the United States as an example to follow: they are powerful, and wealthy, advanced in technology and science, the American dream is just a beautiful dream for everyone: everyone can enjoy their beautiful home with a dog, a garden, a garage, two cars and good healthcare, education system, the park, the public transportation, and good food. Of course, if they cannot keep the system good then the next good example might be China? just think about their infrastructure and metropolis, their EV and AI application, Chinese cities are definitely where we want to come and live our lives next to the United States.
If I were the leader of Iran or the leader of Israel I would definitely and automatically do exactly the same of what they are doing: they are doing for their people, their interests, and whatever they are doing that’s absolutely valid and making sense. Only people who are stupid will make their people suffer. So if you see the results: hundreds and thousands of Ukrainians and Palestinians have died. Who is the cause of this? Look at our history too, millions of Vietnamese died during the war with France, the Japanese, and then the Americans, who is the cause? Millions of Russians died during World War 2 because of fascists, who is the cause? Were the leaders doing something wrong to make this happen? I don’t know, I am not intelligent enough to comprehend what is right or wrong in the decision of fighting and waging war. But one thing we all know: we never want war, we don’t want foreigners to come to our country to kill and take over our land. This is homeland security, and security means protecting our identities and interests for many years of the future to come. Vietnam, the land of the Vietnamese has not been split, people are united in one peaceful country, raising kids and developing the place into a better place for our generations in the future. As a Vietnamese, I am happy to see that and I want to see that longevity in the long term. We must not take sides, we must keep our stance and values, and we must focus on the development of people’s lives, first and foremost the economy and then the people’s mental lives: more holidays, more travel, better air qualities and environments, wider roads, cheaper housing or better income, people are more valued and willing to do more to be innovative and more productive in their works, etc.

In another place of the world, do we wonder, why can’t Iran be allied with the United States? Why can’t Russia, China, and America have the same vision and together lead the world to become a better place? Or do I not know this because I am a person that I am not willing to open my own company but rather work as a normal staff? Is it really a second version of the new colonization system in Africa, the Middle East, and South America? Are people who are living as slaves and suffering? The answer is for a new emerging “Moses” of the future to come in that region. We are walking in a thin line and this world is not a safe place for everyone, we easily slip and die as a whole. But, after all, it’s natural selection, simple as that.
