So I did a transaction online, basically, I bought a game item and I was able to do some successful trade. I won’t tell you what the game is because it doesn’t matter, the matter is that I already got scammed. I was putting faith in all the online traders, usually, this game doesn’t have any middle man so I just decided to do an online e-transfer first (do money transfer via online banking) and then receive the item later. But for this guy it’s definitely not going that way, I transferred the money and he immediately blocked my Facebook account right after that, I have no way to reach out to the guy or report this guy to anyone, it’s just purely hopeless.
This is not the first time I got scammed by doing the online transfer. I have been receiving the same penalties for a dozen times but in the country and internationally. I have to say there is zero trust in purchasing anything online. You have to receive the item, see the item, and then, at least have some guarantee by a middleman that you surely get the item you purchase after you do the payment. You guys have to take this lesson from me seriously: do never ever deposit your money into other people’s accounts first. Do never give credit card information to anyone. The transaction must be guaranteed by some kind of middleman. If you do not feel safe, do not purchase, despite how much you need the item. And again, for any kind of game or environment, play the game that is adopted by the majority instead of the minority. I was playing a game that is operated by a small group of engineer and that’s not a real business, they don’t even register their business with the local government, I just play their game and purchase their item without the guarantee that this game will last for a lifetime. The game can be shut down anytime and I will lose anything that I purchase in that game.
You know, sometimes you have to pay for drugs and you receive the shitty consequences after you get high. And tell you this and please don’t say I am stupid, because I already know that I am the really dumb one: I got scammed a dozen times, not only in the game but also by purchasing clothes, bags, purchase services online for items from other countries like Amazon to Vietnam – there is a middleman service to help me buy stuff from a foreign country that Vietnam does not have. I also order food and do the banking first: like banana cake, yes they even scam me a banana cake, got dammit.
I am writing this blog with misery, rage, and regret. You guys have to take this lesson from me for real and do not trust anyone online.
