Beowulf – A fictional character representing all of us

I am a human where I have a lot of sins, I was never born clean and I was made of a combination of good and evil. I can become an angel and then turn into a demon in a matter of seconds. As a living creature with a human brain, I have the ability to create happiness and havoc at the same time. Why we are like that? because we are Adam and Eva who both eat the forbidden fruit Garden of Eden. Why do we do so? because of the curiosity and naturally we have within. We can create and destroy things. We can make other humans and we can kill them (or each other) as well.

Beowulf is one of the famous tales of Germanic heroic legend. It has an animated movie with the same name, reference here https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0442933/. Throughout this article, I will write in the first person view that the word “I” will represent all of us, who are the men (and probably women, it’s up to you).

Why are we discussing this? Because I can tell how related we are to the character. Beowulf is a talented man and full of sins. With his unmatched talent, he can kill a monster to save the whole community but then he himself is the one who mates with the mother of all devils to create a continuous monster. Here the story mentioning about very specifics point: man regardless who much wisdom and strength he has, there is always having a weakness all men cannot beat, lust. He can never be against the beauty of women, which then he can fall for – himself giving his soul to evil for his tempting sexual attraction. We are all born like that and this is the fact that all literature in history has tell us. It’s so similar to the Trojan War where the war starts with a seemingly weak-ass woman. Throughout history, even in my country, Vietnam, there is a story of Nỏ Thần An Dương Vương which also speaks about lust that decides the fate of the whole nation: but instead of traditionally men being trapped by women, this time our princess, Mị Châu, was trapped by Chinese prince, Trọng Thuỷ, and giving her dad Magic Cross Bow (Nỏ Thần) and result in our country being captured by Chinese folks (the Han) from the North (no wonder why until now many women still complaining about trap boys).

The temptation in the movie scene where Beowolf meets Grendel’s mother (the Mother of Evils) is definitely once of my favorite scenes. Think about it, I will definitely go for that boobs and the vagina. If you were me, you would do the same, do not lie to me, coward. Grendel’s mother’s words are just on point, and very persuasive, I like the script very much. You can watch this scene below here

Anyway, it’s all about the advice the Beowolf tale reminds us: do not fall for chick, you will get STDs someday or lose a fortune/career and your family as well. it’s a great story, I have a great impression of this story. My tip before you fall for any lust is that you must train yourself not to fall for it. I mean, frankly speaking, I am a normal human too and I guarantee that I will fall for any chick. Probably I will be smart enough not to cause any consequences like losing too much money and stuff or raising a kid that is not matching with my DNA. Anyways, stuff goes on, let’s follow God’s light and trust in him. I could claim that I am an agnostic, I believe in any god regardless of the religion. I always believe there is a mysterious force that drives us, our actions,s, and our beliefs. This means we always have to believe that we can do things right, with wisdom guiding us and with good intuition, we can avoid wrongdoing. We can avoid betrayal of our loved one, like being unfaithful to the wife and not falling for the endless addiction of lust that we will suffer (like simping).
